The purpose was to find an unusal shape and place for the glass house. Orangery is transit space between two banks of the river Neris: between old and new part of Vilnius town. the inspiration was iceberg. The shape of it exposed the main structure of the building. Ice and glass are fragile materials. Also Ice can preserve life by colding it and glass can protect from unfavourable atmosphere and helps to make plants greener. To highlight that we made bearing construction as a shape of a big tree and on a branch we installed a big orangery. It makes an illusion of allways green tree. It is possible to go up and down with elevator, which is installed in the stem and there are paths on the branche

The aim of a project was to build a sculpture in the small square in the old town. I decided to make sphere and put it on the base, which is with stairs. It is simple and doesnt "scream" in old town contecst.
